SIXTEXTIL started as a family business in 1996, with three working partners, Antonio Pinto , Jose Pinto e Luis Pinto, both experienced and enterprising textile employees.Initially, in individual name, Sixtextil entered the market with a production of Shirts. Employing about 15 collaborators with the partners arduous accompaniment in all areas.Always taking into account a spirit of doing more and better and foreseeing great difficulties in the actual work area, Sixtextil begins a conversion at the production level, and invests in goods of larger demand in quality terms.At this stage we start producing highly technical and quality Skirt's, Shorts, dresses, Shirt’s, Blouses etc... leaving, this way, a part of the internal market and starting to export to several countries of Europe.Always respecting and maintaining high quality standards the orders increased, and in this way we experienced a growth in production making it necessary to expand our premises and invest in more advanced technology , as the existing had become insufficient.After a financial and material analyses , the partners decided to invest in a new project, and in 2003 purchase ground with an area of 3600 m2.With an covered area of 2100m2 and the number of employees was increased to 45 and in this way enabling us to handle the increasing number of orders and initiating a new phase in the company's history..Since 2003 Sixtextil has been giving priority to professional training and converting the people affected by the new work system and automation of the assembly of the different production lines, with the conclusion of the new project, avoiding this way any lay-off of staff, increasing production and efficiency at the same time.At the moment Sixtextil, has 60 employees with a 28 year-old medium age level, specially trained to answer in an effective way to the requests imposed by our customers, 80% of these workers were trained by Sixtextil, integrated in professional training and recycling courses.
